Chittorgarh Fort
Visit the massive Chittorgarh Fort which forms the largest fort of India. It covers an area of 700 acres and the whole structure is atop a hill, it has seven fortified gates, 22 water reservoirs, and more than 130 temples and palaces. The fort carries the tales of mythical battles and sacrifice as well as monarchial pride. .
Victory Tower (Vijay Stambha)
This is a 37 meter high tower facing a panoramic view of the fort and Chittorgarh town built by Rana Kumbha to commemorate his victory over Malwa Sultan.
Kirti Stambha
A smaller and elder Jain tower with its fine carvings and Jain idols constructed by Jijaji, a merchant of Rathod family.
Rana Kumbha Palace
See the remains of this Royal palace, where the noble woman Meera Bai and the birth place of Maharana Udai Singh were born. It is also the place where Rani Padmini committed Jauhar and is a very historical spot.
Palace of Rani Padmini
This palace is surrounded by the pool of lotus and it was the story of Rani Padmini bravery and heroism that makes this known. The siege of Chittor was the result of obsession of Alauddin Khilji with her beauty.
Meera Bai Temple
A shrine of the saint-poetess Meera Bai. Famous in its spiritual mood and excellent architecture of the Indo-Aryan type, the temple is a recognizable monument of the tour.
Jain Temples
You will find ancient Jain temples in the fort complex, giving you an insight into the religious and cultural diversity the region meets. These temples shows the impact of Jainism in Mewar since 220 BC.
